Unbridled

The first film from Thousand Faces, making theatrical, progressive porn that explores the intersection of performance and emotion. This film is based on a play created by Second Self Ensemble theatre company.

This film is based on a play called Black Beauty in Irons that was created to explore kink, fetish, and BDSM themes from a perspective based firmly within those communities, and specifically through a fictional couple’s experience with a form of animal role-play called Ponyplay. We aimed to involve a mainstream audience in a conversation about identity, consent, and alternative expression.
Unbridled is an attempt to further muddy the waters between art, sex, theatre, performance, and porn. I knew there was more explicit territory only partially explored in our development of Black Beauty in Irons, and determined to create something akin to the original play that would become it’s own piece.
The film contains no dialogue.

Tribute
